Dear Friend,
We are a group of Christians who deeply care about the destiny of your soul. If you have a few minutes when you receive this gospel invitation, please take a moment to read and reflect on it. If you are busy or on the go, please save it and read it when you have a chance.
We modern people are constantly busy, rushing between work, family, and all kinds of obligations. Especially in a big city like New York, the high cost of living compels people to work tirelessly. People often say that in the twenty-first century, health is the hardest thing to buy. Environmental pollution, overwork, and addiction to electronic devices cause not only physical suffering but also spiritual sickness β we appear busy and fulfilled, yet often feel empty and exhausted inside. We accumulate wealth, yet lose the warmth of family and genuine friendships. The ancient Chinese observed that the character for "busy" (εΏ) is composed of "heart" (εΏ) and "death" (δΊ‘) β a vivid picture of modern life: so busy that the heart is lost, so busy that we no longer know what we are living for. Depression and anxiety have become increasingly common and severe in modern society.
When people pursue only worldly things, it is like trying to fill an infinite void with finite things β no matter how much we grasp, we can never hold on to it. Why do people feel such emptiness? Because God "has set eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11) The human soul was created for God; apart from the Lord who created life, no amount of wealth, fame, or pleasure can fill this deep void within.
The Lord of heaven and earth knows our weariness, pain, and lostness. Therefore, the Lord Jesus extends a tender and heartfelt invitation to all: "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) The Lord Jesus became flesh and came into the world, gave His life for sinners, was nailed to the cross, and rose again on the third day β so that all who trust in Him may have their sins forgiven, be set free from the bondage of sin and the sting of death. In the Savior Jesus Christ, anointed by the Holy Spirit, we can live out wisdom, self-control, forgiveness, and true love. Not only is the soul healed and the body made healthier, but genuine and beautiful relationships are restored, and in the future we will enter into eternal rest and boundless joy in heaven.
We would love to share this wonderful news with you, so that you and your family, and even your friends and relatives, may be saved and blessed through the salvation that Jesus Christ has already accomplished. We sincerely hope you will accept our invitation to join us for this gospel gathering and share a meal together. If you are unable to come in person, you are welcome to watch the livestream on Zoom. May God bless you.
